The Pilot Program

Just like the Wright Brothers, you can be a part of history…

The full program will hopefully be launched in August 2016, depending on whether funding is approved in March 2016. Rather than sit around and wait, however, we are crowdsourcing funds from local community members to financially support a single individual to pilot the program from January – May 2016.

The pilot program will provide free housing at the co.space and free membership and support from New Leaf Initiative for 5 months.

We will not be able to provide any sort of stipend or project support to the individual, but still believe that free housing and co-working can be critical to many social innovators. If the program and individual are successful over the 5 months, we are also interested in exploring continued support for that individual the rest of the year, if funds allow.

We would love to chat with you more and learn about what excites you – both in your own work, and with the Changemaker in Residence Pilot Program. We will fill the spot on a rolling basis between now and the end of the year. We are looking for an individual who can move to State College from January 1, 2016 – May 31, 2016 but will be slightly flexible on dates given the right candidate.
